Hello my Friend,
This is Rick Mizuno and I wanted to take this opportunity to personally
speak to you about my beautiful wife Patricia.
It is with a mixture of sorrow and joy that I inform you that on
May 15, 2003 the precious bride-of-my-youth went home to be with our Lord.
Please understand my feelings for not giving details, but I will tell you that
her passing was sudden and totally unexpected.
She was not ill (in the normal sense of the word) but she did have an off and
on condition that she courageously contended with for a number of years.
It was this condition that abruptly ushered her into the presence of our
Heavenly Father.
I won't even attempt to describe how much I miss her or what she meant to me and my family. Needless to say, she being the better whole of our operation of our partnership of our marriage naturally leaves a huge void.
Her sensitivity her wisdom her perceptiveness her faithfulness her support her love her touch and of course, her smile is sorely missed.
YET, I have a peace that for some makes no-sense at all.
For I know that the love of my life LIVES with Jesus Christ in her heavenly mansion upon streets of gold. Patricia, who was always beautiful, now has beauty beyond imagination that will extend into all eternity.
As I reflect on my life with my wife there is no doubt that I am a blessed man.
Our 33 year adventure as husband and wife has been filled with the kind of stuff that great books are based on. I am forever grateful to my wife for helping me to be the man that I am today. And I am eternally thankful to God for bringing us together and empowering us to journey as one.
Although she has preceded me into heaven, our Relationship Bank Account is extraordinarily overflowing with rich investments that are far more valuable than diamonds and gold.
It's funny, but I never question God ..... Why! Why now when we have so much work to do so may relationships to reach.
On the contrary although I don't know the Why's I do know What I am to do. It came to me during those days following the Home-Going-Celebration of my beloved. I am not only to carry on with the purpose of TRC but I feel a tremendous surge of energy and zeal to be far more involved and forthright than ever before. It is in the name of Jesus Christ and in Honor of Patricia that I feel both obligated and called to Champion the Cause for Marital Longevity.
There are several things behind the scene that have been implemented from which one of the first fruits yielded is "Promises Kept."
I am very please and very excited about this project which has the potential to really make a very positive impact on relationships.
The spirit within "Promises Kept" will cause ears to hear hearts to receive and minds to visualize the Essence of a Lifelong Love Affair. This presentation is both Inspirational and Instructional, particular as it relates to keeping the
Marriage Vows.
In closing I would like to say. I truly Pray and Faithfully Hope that what ever you can glean from the kind of Love and Relationship that Patricia & I represent, bless you & yours immeasurably "Till death do you part."
